About Us
Objectives
1. Protect and project Igbo culture, traditions, and values.
2. Promote the welfare and well-being of Igbo people worldwide.
3. Encourage investment and economic development in Igbo communities.
4. Foster a “think home” mentality among Igbo people in diaspora.
5. Defend the rights and interests of Igbo people.
6. Support motherless homes, orphanages, and scholarships.
7. Establish schools, entertainment centers, and estates/property developments.
8. Promote agriculture, Trade, farming, textiles, and fabrics.
9. Open app for welfare and development community
10. Create employment opportunities for Igbo youths
11. Develop human capital through training and capacity building
12. Encourage and expand Vocational Expertise and Trade workshops amongst her members.
Scope
Umuigbo Worldwide will operate globally, with a focus on Igbo communities in Nigeria and the diaspora.
Membership
1. Membership is open to all individuals of Igbo descent and those who support the organization’s objectives.
2. Members shall register and pay dues as determined by the Executive Council.
Governance
1. The Executive Council shall consist of a Chairman, Secretary-General, and other elected members.
2. The Executive Council shall meet quarterly to review progress and make decisions.
